Joyful Noise Christian Preschool has programs for 3-year-olds and 4-year-olds

• 2 Days : Tuesday and Thursday 

Group 1 from 8:30 am to 11:30 am

Group 2 from 8:45 am to 11:45 am

• 3 Days: Monday, Wednesday and Friday 

Group 1 from 8:30 am to 11:30 am

Group 2 from 8:45 am to 11:45 am

• 5 Days: Monday to Friday

Curriculum & Activities

Daily activities 

Activities are generally theme based and include the following:

• stretching, sports and games in the gym

• music and dancing

• learning the letters of the alphabet

• learning to count

• Spanish lessons - learning the language through fun interactive activities

• story time

• craft time

• show and tell

• outside play time when weather permits

Curriculum

• We offer materials that will help develop fine and gross motor skills and provide opportunities that will encourage physical development, dramatic/imaginative play and creativity through music and art. 

• The teachers plan thematic units that cover various topics such as letter of the week, seasons, weather, community helpers, nutrition and exercise, all about me, etc. 

• Our program implements Spanish language development following the same topics as those presented in English. 

• Teachers encourage social growth by giving children many opportunities to share their feelings, exciting stories, and special qualities about themselves. 

• We strive to meet the child's emotional needs by encouraging them to be themselves, teaching them to embrace who they are, and reinforcing positive individual qualities.

• Parent Volunteers are not obligated and there are opportunities for other kind of volunteer activities such as crafts, playdough, scrapbooks and photo albums.

We use an app to keep you up to date with the daily activities in class! Access to this service is only applicable to parents that have children registered in this class.

Joyful Noise is in the application process to transition from a 3-hr preschool program to an Extended Hours Preschool, which requires an altered license with Alberta Child Care Services. Once (if) we are approved, registrations will open for:

Joyful Noise Christian Early Learning Centre is offering Preschool Extended Hours from Monday to Friday.

3 Year old - Preschool 4 Year old - Pre- Kindergarten

• Full Day  from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm

• Morning from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm

• Afternoon from 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm

Any parent who has registered for the 3-hr preschool program:

• will have the right to cancel their registration and receive a refund of their registration fee if they do not wish to transition to the extended-hours format, or

• will have priority for registration under the new extended-hours format
